Jordan Red Door

While viewing a PBS special on the California wine country a seed was planted to someday photograph there. Years later I toured this winery, built in 1968 by Tom Jordon, where I eventually captured this colorful photograph.

The tour was poetic and fragrant, as the grapes were arriving from the fields and going right into the de-stemmers and crushers, prior to fermentation. As our tour walked along, I saw wonderful photographic opportunities, and couldn't wait to get out there with my camera (even though it was 100 dry degrees).
