Les Glycines
This France photo was made in the medieval town of Vezelay in the Burgundy region. I was very lucky to be in this town on the day I was as the wisteria was in full bloom. An evening storm changed everything by the next morning, but I had my shot on film from the day before.
This is a bed and breakfast named : ‘Les Glycines.’’ It is four hundred and fifty years old and the wisteria, which measure almost 3 feet in diameter, are two hundred and fifty years old ! The fragrance was almost intoxicating as we sat in the courtyard enjoying a snack.
