Chateau in the Mist
This enchanting scene was photographed on an autumn morning in the Dordogne River region of southwest France. This area is very hilly and forested with the Dordogne River running through it.
My wife and I were walking along the streets of Beynac at sunrise. We saw this castle in the distance shrouded in fog and bathed in warm morning light. We later learned it is named Chateau de Fayrac and was a British controlled castle during the 100 years war with France.
